Lego Technic 42107 Ducati Panigale V4 R Review
I have always been a big fan of Lego motorbikes, especially the Lego Technic ones. And if you wonder what kind of motorbikes I like, it is exactly the sport/racing motorbikes, just like typical Ducatis. So, this Lego model was another must-have set for me. That’s why I decided to buy it and make a review of it. It was released for sale on June 1st, 2020 (on August 1st in the US), so I ordered it right that day. It was shipped to me in 2 days and I started building it right when the box was delivered to me.
Also, before you start reading my review of this Lego model, you might like to check out my other older article in which I have reviewed the Lego Technic 42063 BMW R 1200 GT Adventure motorcycle building kit. I like this special motorcycle set from 2017 as much as I do this one. It is really worth the look as well.
And if you want to see other motorbikes Lego sets than just from the Lego Technic theme, check out my other article in which I have reviewed the best motorcycle Lego sets (it includes, for example, the Lego Creator Harley-Davidson Fat Boy model).
Now, back to my review:
This Lego kit was designed in partnership with the Ducati company (Italian motorcycles brand). It comes in a bold red color and includes outstanding features. They include, for example, a 2-speed gearbox, which is a new Lego Technic feature, firstly included in this particular building kit (this is the first Lego motorcycle model with a working gearbox). It includes rear and front suspension as well.
Other features include front & rear disc brakes, steering, a windshield, an exhaust pipe, a dashboard, and a kickstand. And this Lego bike model also includes the drive chain, which is quite special because, for example, the BMW motorbike Lego model does not have it.
It took me about 3 hours to build this set. The building process was pretty easy, as everything is well-explained in the instructions. I enjoyed the build and was pretty happy seeing the final result, which is a realistic Lego Technic motorbike model.
The whole model consists of 646 bricks and the bike measures 6” (16 cm) high, 12” (32 cm) long, and 3” (8 cm) wide. It is recommended for kids of the ages 10+.
You can see some photos of this Ducati Lego replica below.
I recommend this Lego building kit to every motorcycle enthusiast that likes Lego Technic too.
And you should also check out my review of the light kit for this Ducati Lego set. I ordered it, assembled it on this Lego model, and made some good photos of it. The lighting effect looks really cool at night.
Lastly, I also invite you to watch my YouTube unboxing video of this Lego model if you are planning to buy this set.

Lego enthusiast, big Lego Technic fan. I have been blogging about Lego since 2017, when I started this blog. When I’m not writing an article for this blog or building a Lego set, I’m probably riding my bike. You can find out more about me here.
