6 Best Lego Technic Ferrari Sets
In this article, I will review 6 top Lego Technic Ferrari sportscar sets. Some of these sets are being sold as “Lego Racers”, but I consider them being Lego Technic sets because as you can see on the images in this article, they all consist of parts that are typical for Lego Technic. I even own one of these sets personally (the third one in the list) and I can say that this set really looks like a Lego Technic set to me.
Also, if you have younger kids (that are not ready for Lego Technic yet), you might like to check out my other article in which I list top 6 Lego Speed Champions Ferrari sets and buy them a gift. That list includes smaller Ferrari Lego models (like you can see on the image above).
Now let’s dive into the reviews:
Lego Technic Ferrari Daytona SP3 42143
The first LEGO Technic set on my list is this Ferrari Daytona SP3 designed for adult users with more advanced building skills. Already at first sight it is a beauty and when you also discover its technical features, you will be more than amazed. The model with 3778 pieces is a 1:8 replica of the real car including V12 engine with moving pistons, 8-speed sequential gearbox, and steering. Its butterfly doors can be opened to expose the driver’s seat console, the roof can be removed, and the car also comes with shock absorbers. Ferrari logos and little authentic details are a matter of course. With the unique serial number, you can find special online content and rewards.
Dimensions: over 5.5 in. (14cm) high, 23 in. (59cm) long and 9.5 in. (25cm) wide
Lego Technic 42125 Ferrari 488 GTE “AF Corse #51”
The second one on my list is the newest Lego Technic Ferrari set from all the ones included in it. It was released in January 2021. The package contains 1,677 pieces. Most of them are of the red and black color. And as you can see, it comes with a pretty high number of stickers. However, this is the case with almost all 2021 Lego Technic sets. They have many stickers, what some people may not like (personally, I’m not a big fan of that). This Lego Technic Ferrari 488 GTE racing car contains various nice details. They include, for example, a V8 engine with moving pistons, opening doors, front and rear suspension, and working steering wheel. The dimensions of the final model are 19″ (48 cm) long, 5″ (13 cm) high and 8.5″ (21 cm) wide. Finally, I should also note that this is an 18+ Lego set, so it is an official adult Lego building kit.
Lego Racers 8145 Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano 1:10
So, this one is my favorite Lego Technic Ferrari set. I also own it and am its proud owner. 🙂 This Lego Ferrari model is pretty big, as its scale to the real Ferrari car is 1:10. The dimensions of this model are 25.7 x 17 x 2.8 inches (65.2 x 43.2 x 7.2 cm). Also the box is pretty big. It took me 2 weeks to completely build the model (I dedicated 1 hour daily to building though). The model features working steering, V12 engine with working pistons and the hood, boot and the doors can be opened. Most parts of this set are of the red color respectively, but the model also has beige seats. If you want a nice Ferrari Lego model, I recommend this one. In my opinion it looks best (or you might also like the Enzo set mentioned below).
Lego Racers 8653 Enzo Ferrari 1:10
This is another Lego’s Ferrari set released as a Lego Racers set. Its dimensions are of the 1:10 scale of the real Ferrari Enzo car model. This set has 1,360 pieces and obviously most of them are of the red color. The features of this model are similar to the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano set mentioned above. It is a Lego set from 2005 and is suitable for kids of the age of 10+ years. This set has no any B model, but with so many parts you can build from it virtually anything.
Lego Technic 8070 Supercar
This one is the second newest set from my list. It is also the smallest one (although still pretty big), but a real Lego Technic one (not Lego Racers). However, it is not a Ferrari. But still I decided to include it into my list, because it looks like a Ferrari, too, doesn’t it? Not just because it is red. Feel free to let me know what do you think in the comments at the bottom of this post. Even if it’s not really a Ferrari, it is a nice set and it is also the cheapest one from my list. So if your budget is lower, you can buy this one. This set was released in 2011 and consists of 1,281 parts.
Lego Racers 8674 Ferrari F1 Racer 1:8
The last set on my list is a Lego Technic Ferrari set as well (actually Lego Racers, to be correct with Lego), but it is not a Ferrari supercar, it is a Formula 1 Race Car. If you are more interested in Formulas rather than Ferrari sport cars, then check out my other comparison article with reviews: Lego Technic Formula 1 Sets – you will find more details and reviews of 3 other Formula F1 Lego Technic sets in this article, too.
Which one of these 6 best Lego Technic Ferrari sets would be your choice? If you read carefully, you already know which one I prefer and why (I own the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano 8145 set). However, I would also consider the newest set #1, Lego Technic Ferrari Daytona SP3.

Lego enthusiast, big Lego Technic fan. I have been blogging about Lego since 2017, when I started this blog. When I’m not writing an article for this blog or building a Lego set, I’m probably riding my bike. You can find out more about me here.
